Competitors Losing Sitelinks, Dropping Spots On Brand Terms

I just noticed that a competitor lost their sitelinks on an exact brand search, and also shows up a few spots lower, now, for another variation on their brand name. Anyone else seeing this in their markets, or seen this before? Got any idea why this might happen?
