How to move a page and preserve its rank in Google SERPs?
Geocities closing, I don't want to lose my high-ranking page

How should I modify my geocities page in such a way that it would pass on its pagerank to a page in a new location?
(can I use HTML REDIRECT tag, etc.)

No, to the best of my knowledge geocities doesn't offer a 301ing redirect facility - and even if they did, it would vanish when the site disappears.
You are going to have to do the hard yards manually:
- rehost the content
- change the geocities content - each page - to point to the new page
- start contacting those backlinks!

Not an easy task at all.

Thanks!
Do you think I should use the REDIRECT tag?
