How to target Website in specific country

 2:03 pm on Apr 10, 2009 (gmt 0)

Hello All

Here is my first post and this question made me to write here. This is one of my research attempts and I am trying to find on web too. Here is question I have come up with
My Website is hosted in Great Britain (UK) I am working on this website from India and I want to target one of its services page in USA region only.

I got a good listing, 2nd rank but it is in India whenever I go and change "&gl=us" at Google search URL I found my website on 6 page listing.

A Month ago I was getting a lots of lead and was on top in USA with same keyword but the ranking has down and I am not getting lead any more.
Please help me out if you have faced this problem

In Google Webmaster Tools you can choose Settings and then Geographic target to point the country.

If you want to see your listing in the us find a us proxy. Those are not hard to find there are lots of free lists. You may have to go through a few before you find one that works.

If you are talking about how to rank in us all you need is more links and anchor text.
