Web Search vs. Blog Search

Web Search vs. Blog Search
Does anyone know how blogs and regular websites are arranged hierarchically in search engines? Let me give an example. I search for "Mickey Mouse" in blogsearch, it shows me a bunch of blogs with that content. I search for "Mickey Mouse" in websearch, it shows me regular websites AS WELL AS, potentially, some blogs. But, are ALL the blogs indexed on blog search indexed in the regular websearch as well? If not, what decides what gets included and what doesn't? A convoluted question, but I'm curious...might have to optimize a few blogs in the future.

Hello,

On blogsearch posts are listed as per they were posted or comments were added.

It's always the latest first order.

You can change that to -
last 1 hour
last 1 day
.......

and so on..

Whereas Google search is different, it's more based on content and relativity to search terms.
