|On Site Keyword Intra-Linking: helpful or harmful?|
Should each page have a keyword link to the homepage?
I guess the title of this post sums up my question. I have the option to use a unique h1 on every page in the format:
<h1 class="toptext"><a href="http://mysite.com">KEYWORD</a> at the best widget store</h1>
Would it be best to link back to the homepage using the same keyword, or to use a variety of keywords across the site?
I would recommend using different key words, I have been been told that too many of the same key word can be viewed by Google as spam
This is in addition to the site logo (usually upper left) also being a link back to the homepage?
