One URL for the US? Or one for each city?

If you are building a new site for EXAMPLERS(realtors, builders, whatever) and you expect most of your traffic to come from organic search

are you better off for SEO to have one domain EXAMPLERS.COM and pages or subdomains in the format EXAMPLERS.COM/BOSTON

or to have a separate domain and content for each city BostonExamplers.com?

Anyone tried both?

Thanks All
