should i use 301 redirect?

Hi,
I need to move an entire site from existing domain A to a new domain and new hosting B.
should i delete all files on old domain A and redirect to the new domain B?
WHAT IS IT EXACTLY I SHOULD WRITE FOR 301 REDIRECT, WHERE & HOW?

I would 301 redirect every old URL to each new URL at the new domain.
Put the 301 redirects to the appropriate new page in the header of every page on the old domain.

I can't tell you the exact code at the moment, but I'll see if I can find the last one I did and post it for you.

You can check the redirects using #*$!, or the a firefox extension that shows the actual page headers being delivered to the browser once you are done.
