Lotus Notes and SEO

I just started a new position at a firm that is still using Lotus Notes (this will change in the next few months). However my task is to improve SEO, however I have read nothing but challenges with SEO and Notes.

The targeted keywords are not that competitive that others are optimized better, but rather we are not showing up at all.

Does anyone have a Notes based site with good SEO results?
Any ideas/references would be much appreciated.

I assume when you say "Notes" you're talking about IBM's "Domino" (the server component - Notes is the desktop client.)

I'm afraid I can't offer you any general advice, since I haven't run any sites purely on Domino in a number of years.

I do, however, have some experience in both arenas (Domino and SEO) so might be able to offer some guidance if I had a clearer idea of the kind of site you were running, and what you're using Domino for exactly - - or even better a URL to take a look at.

Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Either way - good luck!
