|Small Personal SEO vs. Large Company SEO|
Which SEO service is best?

This is a question for those who have experienced both sides of the spectrum or for those who just want to add their own two cents.
The question is, who is the better SEO service, the small personal consultant who provide SEO services or the medium-large company who provide SEO services?
I know both have their own pros and cons, such as:
- The personal consultant is more personal, while the large company you're an account number.
- The personal consultant probably has more manual processes, while the large company automates for fast and snappy processing.
- The personal consultant is probably less reliable, but the large company is stable and operates 24/7 or normal business hours.
- The personal consultant may be best for smaller budgets (less than $5000) and larger companies are best for larger budgets ($5000 or more).
I want to hear thoughts from others. Let me know your thoughts and experiences?

To some I would be classed as a small SEO business, however to the smaller I would be classed as the larger business. Either way its like the guy above said it all hangs on results.
Sure its god to have the 1-2-1 service but thatís no good if they donít deliver, the same for the larger side of things its great to say I have a huge SEO company handling our promotions but again its no good if you never see results.
I have seen some bad large companies in my time, and I have seen the best, the same with the smaller ones. As I keep telling our clients for ethical SEO work to be put into place it all takes time, time building the sites code up to scratch, time promoting the site, time to write unique content, time to get listings, everything is a time game in this industry. If a large or small company offer you an SEO package for next to nothing the changes are you might in-deed get next to nothing.
To date (sorry guys if any of you offer pages at low rates) but to date I havenít seen a package for lets say£500-700 work, now I donít go out of my way to find companies who do deliver but this is from my clients experience.
Large our small always do your research, always look for results and also check, the internet can be easily fooled so always check everything yourself.

I am a small SEO personal consultant myself. I wanted to get user opinions on the services they've encountered or what would make someone choose one over the other, before trying the service and seeing results.
What is most important? What are the highlights of being a smaller SEO or larger SEO company? Reputation, referrals, personal, etc. What would make you initially choose one over the other?
