Import RSS feeds to my site, but edit and post only specific ones

Msg#: 4251692 posted 7:32 am on Jan 11, 2011 (gmt 0)

I would like create a rss feed in my site where i import feeds to my back office.
After getting them, i want to choose the ones i want to post (with a check box or in a similar way), and edit them so they all look uniform on my site (same font for title, same font for body etc).
Do you know any way i can do that ?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld medugam.

How will you be importing feeds to your back office?

Perhaps you could export a feed of chosen posts by using something like Google Reader's favorites/Shared Items. Google even has tools to put clips of your shared items on your site.

There should be no need to edit the item's style. An XML/RSS feed shouldn't require that. It should conform to whatever stylesheet you're using on your site.
