Full Text News Feeds

Does anybody know of any news sites that do full text rss feeds?

I'm working on getting RSS feeds from various major news organisations, filtering it and having it sent through to the appropriate individuals via a Content Management System. I wanted to see how it would work with news feeds that contain the full story but haven't been able to find any.

Any one have any ideas?

The larger news organizations do have full feeds available, for a price. The shorter, free feeds, that they provide are normally for non-commercial or personal use. If you're using the data on a commercial site then they ask that you pay for licencing.

For example:

  • Reuters - [about.reuters.com...]
  • teaperson

Some of the local papers around Boston run by Gatehouse media have a full text feed. It's probably not the content you want but it would give you something to test with.
