I set up a small private WordPress site for a bunch of old geezers (yeah, me included) to shoot the bull, arrange meet ups and such. One of the things I wanted to accomplish was to minimize inbox clutter when we're trying to figure out where and when to eat -- ten guys hitting reply all a few times an hour over a week is just too much. I figured a feed would be perfect.
Of course, everything is behind a log-in. Are there any feedreaders out there that can peek behind there and grab the feed?

hmm... I don't use WP so I'm not sure what you can do exactly, but couldn't you publish the feed to a password protected directory outside this cookie authenticated site? Then you could still keep the feed secure and still use many of the popular aggregators out there.
Even FeedBurner has a password protection option you could use...

I was going to check into trying to publish it outside WP. I'm completely new to publishing feeds so have some reading and catching up to do. Will also check Feedburner and see what possibilities are there.
