Hi all,

this is my first time on the board, so hello

I need some help with making my content feature on google news alerts [google.co.uk...]

I have created a rss feed page http://www.example.com/Documents/RSS/Fylde%20News.xml and set up my account with feedburner [feeds.example.com...]

I have just submitted the url via google but am i missing something here with regard to google news alerts email picking up my content. I have signed up to an email alert with the keyword fylde and had hoped my content would of appeared.

Anyway, kinda new to the rss set up so any comments or kicks in right direction would help me out a lot.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com].

Sometimes it may take a while for those pages to be indexed in Google. Usually they require some sort of linking from an external page, to be added to the Google Index.

I am not 100% sure if you subscribed to any mention FYLDE in google index, or specifically the news section.

If it is the news section I think you have to be approved to be a news provider before it will be included.

This may be exactly what you are looking for:
