Need easier to use Feed parser than Carp

I run a site that shows Yahoo news RSS feeds and various blog RSS/Atom feeds for various alternative energy subjects. It's purpose is to generate Google Adsense ad income.

I'm using Carp Evolution. But I find it so difficult to use. I go things going, but still drives me crazy. There is a comprehensive manual, but no good instructional tutorials.

So, I'd like to find another RSS parsing program which does about the same thing, that is easier to use. I do want the ability to combine feeds and to format the output.

Any suggestions?

Also, I'm not sure of hte rules on where to ask about this, but where can I find people who would work on a site like this for me if I wanted to hire it out?

Thanks a bunch!
