Many webmasters do not use the meta keywords tag since it is not very important.

You may want to read Google's official statement about not using the keywords meta tag in web ranking.

Some people do use the meta keywords tag to help their internal search function on their website. If that is your situation, then you should put in the keywords that people would likely search when they want to find your page.
