hello guys i am new to this forums and it is really amazing forums

my problem is about blogspot blogs
my blog contains an iframe and i got the template form program called " artisteer"
now my blog a week old and google didn't indexed it yet i don't know why but i suspect the iframe in the template, because i heard that spiders in some cases can not crawl and index sites because of iframes ! is that true or not?

please help me in this problem ? normally my blogs indexed in a matter of 2 days
but this one is a week old and not indexed!

thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english

Welcome to WebmasterWorld!

#1 - It is not unusual for search engines to take longer than a week to index a brand new website. To increase the chance of a website being indexed you should focus on link development and making sure the content is unique & relevant.

#2 - Iframes do not always block search engines but they do make crawling more complicated. You should try to have most of your content outside of the iframe. If all of your content is in the iframe, search engines may choose to index the url of the iframe and ignore the page that is wrapped around the iframe.
