Hello,

Here's a great place to start: [httpd.apache.org...]

Good luck! :)

htaccess is a good complement to robots.txt. robots.txt allows you to ask robots not to visit certain areas of your website. htaccess can block ips, rewrite urls and other fun stuff.

There are alot of great htaccess threads over in the Apache Web Server Forum [webmasterworld.com]. That is also the best place to ask this question.

cheers
greg
