I just booked today - 3 nights for about $300 including tax (not including the $25 per day fee). Sometimes it pays to book last minute.

That's a good deal for any late bookers. Thanks for the heads up.

Sweet. Realized I missed an even better deal (thanks Bob) and changed my reserveration - now at $184 for the 3 nights. Did I mention Angelina Jolie comes with the discount?... heh, in your dreams G.

Wow, Pubcon is my favorite event and always a good deal that I hadn't thought much about it until I saw this. Checked my May reservation and then rates now. A few bucks wouldn't be a big deal but man....called and they changed the 5 nights from $568.75 to 296.65 SAVINGS = $272. And that is money that I wouldn't have saved otherwise. lorax and phranque, I think I owe you a FEW drinks. Thanks!

They won't tell you about the lower rates unless you ask, and you may have to sign up for the email special offers (which they activate instantly). Also note that the TI has a 48-hr cancellation window for the old reservation, so you'll have to hurry to do this.

I called less than 24 hours out but it may depend on who you get. And I didn't actually cancel so the time may not apply if it's a change. I just called, was very polite and said that I noticed a big difference, is there anything that can be done. Then she lowered the rates below what the website or special offer was quoting on line.
