Thanks for your response, Bill. I shouldn't have been lazy posting other links - they were, however, meant to be illustrations, not promotions.

I had received a couple of backupify recommendations already. Gave that a try, but it wasn't at all what I was looking for - text only backups. Backupmy.net seems to be similarly useless in this situation, to put it bluntly.

There was a mention of using Yahoo Pipes, but I wasn't familiar with what he was trying to do. That Pipe seems to be doing the same thing as importing a regular feed. Still back to where I started!
