I work for a professional software company and the higher up's would like a blog site....

Now, some of this infomation listed will be press releases, upcoming products, acquisitions etc... So some stuff that I really don't want our competitors reading. I am lookinig for some standards - Best Practises - to what should be allowed to the public/Partner Companies/Clients/
