If you set your prefs >> web search >> number of results to show some number-- any number, just not the default "auto"-- it behaves itself reasonably well. Clearly the "auto" concept is a little too challenging for bing's current software. In particular, it has trouble deciding whether the bing definition of a word should count as one of your 10, 15 or whatever number it is.
