google do exactly the same thing with analytics.

if someone visits a site via Bing, and that site has anayltics installed, then google straight away logs the search term in the stats.

there is no real difference between that, and Bing logging search terms through internet explorer. Google use analytics, and Microsoft uses IE. what's the difference?
