Plus requiring a live id. Sounds like the reward program isn't so free.

I don't think most folks will have a problem with this, and will likely look at it as simply having another email address. A lot of folks did the same with Google Buzz. They got Gmail accounts so they could use the application.

I think this incentive to search with Bing will get attention--
especially if rewards users with cool gifts. People are always looking for a tangible return.
