I don't know a single non techie person who uses Chrome. I don't use Chrome and none of the developers I work with do either.
Nor do I test websites on Chrome. I don't care about Chrome and certainly will not give Google further insights into my browsing habits buy using their spyware.
I don't think IE needs to worry to much at this point about Chrome. Google came to the party to late in the game to be much of a factor at this point.
With the bad plubicity that Google is getting about privacy and other stuff, many people are turned off to using their products.
