I was delighted to see good visitor numbers from Bing but dissapointed to see the number of referals drop off (viewing Google Analytics stats)... BUT I made the mistake of viewing 30 day stats and failed to see (until today) that Google have bing stats under "bing.com / referral" AND "bing / organic" (as they have added the code to extract keywords). What looked like a severe drop in traffic is now looking remarkably stable. After taking stats from 3 sites and weighting the daily results for expected traffic levels, here are our relative daily referral numbers from Bing: 0.81 - Monday, June 1, 2009 It appears that they have relatively fewer weekend users (for our niche) but apart from that the stats are remarkably consistent (note this data is only from 26,000 referrals over that period). How does this stack up to your numbers? Long live Bing!
Good news if you hope that Bing will deliver a steady stream of visitors...
