My uneducated guess is that they will leave it as is, incorporated with MSN.
They've been subtley revamping MSN. And this pass weekend MSNBC introduced a new look that's more tightly integrated into MSN. Actually, its no longer msnbc.com but msnbc.msn.com and MSN logos and 'home' are much more prominent than MSNBC. (I got lost a few times, couldn't quite figure out how the heck I wound up at MSN when though I was clicking MSNBC links.)
Add MSN's push into broadband and whatever other premium services it's planning and I'll vote for MSN-branded search (for now at least, until Longhorn).
