Hmm.. no offense, but I consider it rather naive, to think M$ would do ANYTHING what is not in their absolute and sole own interest. So "conspiracy" theories might be closer to reality, than "they just want to be nice"..

Might that not too be a good countermeasure to avoid all this huge loads generated by rank checkers as WP? If I get my RSS feed, that's a few bytes a day, if I use some automated rankchecker it's a bit more..
