While I think it's very much a roll of the dice, I've been uploading a data feed with only a fraction of the products we offer and always include products on pages not yet crawled by googlebot.

Nothing has shown up yet in Froogle except via the Google database. It's very much a Beta product, but it has so much potential that I think it's quite worthwhile to at least have the feed file at hand and ready to go.
