Is it possible that these companies have just invested more resources in getting their feeds as optimized as possible. And they are simply winning the algorithm, where your feed isn't.

One thing to try is if you are carrying the same product and you aren't matching to that product result is changing your product name to match what is one the results page. You may call it ABC XYZ 12pack, where the stores getting matched are calling it 12 pack of XYZ by ABC...
