Even though Froogle hasn't caught on like some of the other Google services, I've been very vocal for some time now about it as having the potential to becoming a major threat to the status quo of shopping on the net.

Google is already placing the Froogle results before the search results, and doing so in such a way that most people think THEY are the things to click on first!

With such a huge disparity in search traffic over all the other engines, it won't surprise me in the least if not too far down the road everybody who sells stuff on the internet has to use Google Product Search or face the consequences and be invisible.
