I agree with lasko and others that the directory listing link was a useful addition to the results. Not only have I often visited the directory directly from the SERPS, but it really helps to show what the authoritative sites are, and also helps to further describe the site.

Google: Please, just why not at least include an option in the preferences? It wouldn't hurt anyone. 'Little' things like this all add up. If you're worried about cluttering up the preferences page, then by all means, include a "more preferences" link at the bottom.
