---- Webmaster Tools Issues - Need Help

ranadeep - 5:53 am on Oct 16, 2009 (gmt 0)

I have launched my blog almost a month back (22nd September). The domain I bought earlier existed (as per wayback machine) and I had registered and verified for webmaster tools. Submitted my sitemap mydomain.com/sitemap.xml through WMT, and my robots.txt points to mydomain.com/sitemap.xml.gz

Now, the issues -

1. Only one url, the homepage url is indexed by google, while WTM shows 89 urls submitted by sitemap.xml and 91 urls submitted by sitemap.xml.gz So why all these differences?

2. WTM "links to your site" shows 36 Links, but no backlinks are displayed in google.

3. When I check the Wayback Machine, I find 4 versions of the site in 2002-2003, one of which does not open, and the remaining 3 are same pages, a real estate agent's site, but with different domain. Was the domain redirected in the past? Does that have anything to do with Google indexing now? If yes, how to solve it?

Is there something wrong with my domain or blog? Please show me some light...
