The 'almost equivalent' concept is a good. The question then becomes what is safe in the red zone (prior to onload or 'almost onload').

Red zone DOM access is questionable.

Red zone document.write(), probably works but evil.

Red zone code should be avoided ? ( I do )

Red zone code has legitimate uses ?
