is disallowing listing in SERPs. By Brett's own admission it doesn't stop Google crawling the site. So if the recognised spiders are still crawling the site and the bad bots don't follow robots.txt anyway ... what exactly does the "nuclear option" (thanks DS) achieve apart from reducing the influx of the n00bs by removing all SE traffic?
