I switch through the TV channels last night and there is this infomercial. A bunch of friends sitting around a kitchen table, and a happy couple which could just have sprung out of the movie "The Stepford Wives" are presenting their new super versatile mixer and showing how they can create all this wonderful stuff to eat in just a few seconds. After ten minutes of watching I just could not believe I could have lived a happy life without this wonderful gadget. So I found myself flipping out my VISA card before they even could say "If you order now we will throw in this great juice maker for free". Now I'm a hundred Euro poorer but will soon be the happy owner of a "magic bullet" mixer set.

Now I'm wondering. Is this just the beginning? Will I soon be cutting my hair with a hair clipper attached to a vacuum cleaner?

Have you ordered something on Home Order Television before? If yes does it work and do you even use it?
