When your young it is an easy decision and easy move, but when you reach 60 it becomes a much much harder decision to move on.
I have been with a company for the last 12 years. During this time my knowledge and ability to do many different task has grown. I have made the company money otherwise I wouldn't be posting this.
I am moving from a company to a 1099.
The decision is not an easy one, I could sit at my desk do the daily task and go home draw my check.
This is not me at 21 or at 60. I have to have a challenge, a purpose to do what I do, a goal, and enjoy the work.
When the management your employed with becomes a dark repressive cloud you lose the drive, you lose the challenge, you lose the enjoyment, you lose the ability to be a productive person. You become a shadow or yourself. The end result is you lose.
I am moving on.
