I'm sure we all do it.

Some IT terminology is a little weird at first. "killing" a process always seemed harsh, "parents and children" in processes is very mechanical sounding to a family man. And projects never really go 'live'.

Weird at first but I guess it makes things more palatable to remember the relationship of things.

I still shudder when someone says "they're having a play" with some new tech. It never excited me that much.
