Try slandering (or whatever the legal term is) someone online in the U.S. Countries in Europe have varying degrees of penalties for activities surrounding Na## memorabilia - you can't even sell it on ebay. Other westernized countries have hate speech laws.

We're pretty much all under some form of internet censorship. The government solves problems while at the same time removing our ability and opportunity to solve those problems ourselves. That works in generally cases but falls down in varying degrees in specific cases.

The case that's mentioned is different from what most of would view as treason only in degree - certainly not in intent.
