My thoughts exactly. This was one of those events where someone had to get the axe, and for better or worse Scott was the public face of a product that, at least for now, is deeply flawed and should never have been released when it was. Tim Cook is the one who should have gotten ousted for making such an infantile decision to release Maps before it was ready just to spite Google, but that wasn't going to happen.
