Takes me back to my first digital clock radio. Made when LEDs and LCDs were just coming into use.* Manufacturers weren't quite sure of it yet, so mine was the old kind, with a spool of physically printed numbers physically rotating around a physical axle. Them was the days.


* And nobody was quite sure which was which. For that matter, it's not all that long since I heard someone on TV say "LSD display". It was not what she meant.
