The outboard has a coil spring type of pull start...? [terminology is way off I am sure]
So it is spring loaded to retract and pull.
She is old for sure...

I even have a 1950's Johnson Seahorse 5... 360 rotating, what I think is more of a trolling motor..

Antique for sure.
