If something suddenly invokes a small charge that you have set up for annual auto-payments or bridge toll payments or something periodic, and you haven't had a balance on this card in the last 6 months, thus no statements, then you won't notice when your postal worker suddenly loses his freaking mind and starts inexplicably returning this credit card statement as undeliverable.
Sorry, if "something" invokes a periodic small charge it will be something you set up... or conversely is a hint of id theft. There's nothing wrong with a zero balance credit card. All of mine are zero. Have been for years. 1) Cash works so much better 2) the accounting is immediate and sans any transaction fees. But I retain the cards since the bank seems so much happier that I have them. Hoping I just might use one. :)
