Why is this news? It's a digital camera and a basic robotic arm acting like a 3-D pen plotter.

There are "line drawing portrait" photo-booths at Chuckie Cheese's that do a better job and do it faster, (really --- [youtube.com...] -- portrait shown at 1:40 seconds into video).
