Really? We have a black-friday type day in my country and I haven't been to the shops (or shopped online that day) in years. Waste of time. I'm not standing in line for 8 hours beside people that smell like cabbage just so I can save $10 on a DVD player. It's like an 'Occupy Fry's' event. No thanks.
I've looked at some of the US black friday retailers this year and nothing really caught my eye. There's specials all year around if you look.
My projection for black friday? Maybe not a fail, but not likely an overwhelming success.
It's like valentine's day in that it's nothing other than a made-up day promoted like crazy by retailers to take your money. Really - what's the big deal again? Oh yeah, it's when everybody shops.
