About 5 years ago I did some advertising with a <particular company>. I used the service for a couple years. I am pretty sure name was changed to <snip>. Setting up the account and PPC was a nightmare process at the time. When I quit PPC I opted to leave the account open for 15.00 a month to keep from having to go through the process of setting up an account again if we decided to go back.
About a year ago I called and began the process of shutting it down. People that was a year ago. I have every month since called different parts of this company to cancel the account. I have been told account was cancelled then we get another bill. I call and they say this was set up under say internet department and I need to cancel it there transfer cancel it, then get another bill call and they say this was set up under <snip> get them cancel, get another bill call and they say this was set up under regular yellow pages.
So now I get a bill for 2 months call and was told that in order to cancel the ad I have to send it in writing, until then the account isn't closed.
This is the first time after all the calls I am told this. I am livid. I ask to speak to her supervisor, in a meeting, yea right.
Let me warn all before they do bussiness with <snip> this company is a complete joke. I guess they are so hard up for cash they trains the employees to lie until the customer has called back enough times to go through every department they have, and then inform them it has to be in writing.
I am going to call back get a supervisor and tell them what I think, get the fax number fax this request and ask for a return fax signed off the account is closed.
Not the money it is the complete waste of time I have spent with this stupid company.
