Is it just my wife or is everyone really excited by ( yet another ) Royal Wedding ?

I don't know many men who are excited by other people's weddings in general, unless it's their own children, so I'd venture to say this royal excitement is a women thing, across the english speaking world.

Personally, I find the monarchy to be an obsolete remnant of an old oppressive institution. I don't see the relevancy in today's world.
