Sometimes it's just not worth the hassle :)
My host lets me have www.domain.com or just domain.com - but if I say to someone "visit my web site at domain.com" they say "don't you mean "www.domain.com?" and then I go into a lengthy explanation and end up using far more syllables than if I had simply said "www.domain.com".
