I'm off to the USA in a few weeks for a holiday. I was wondering how to go about getting a mobile 3g data connection for the time i'm there to check emails, do a bit of work etc.
I've a quad band US nokia E72 that will work great, but i'm not sure how to go about getting a sim?
obviously i can use my australian Telstra sim but no doubt i'll need a new mortgage by the time i get back to pay for it.
So, as a foreigner, am i able to walk into a shop, buy a sim + pre pay data pack, or do i have to have an address and other things before i can do that?
any help, much appreciated
