---- Why Aren't Risk Takers Encouraged?

anand84 - 8:00 am on Mar 31, 2010 (gmt 0)

I quit a well-paying job last August to try a year on my own websites..The sites are growing well..I should be able to replace my old job by the end of the year..It all looks exciting.

But just that today I had applied for a car loan. It got rejected and the guy claims they don't like to finance people with "your kind of a job".

Considering that Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and all those who could have been in lucrative 9-5 jobs might have been in a scenario like mine early in their lives (when there was not enough guarantee that the world wants), isn't the world unfair?

I'm already dropping my idea to buy a new house in a few months from now..not until my business gets real flourishing..
