Here are few:

• good text resizing option
  
• can access websites (mobile-quality connection) at no additional cost and no need for wifi connection
  
• can sample first few chapters of most books before buying
  
• can sample available newspapers for 14 days or so
  
• very lightweight
  
• can read outside in sunlight
  
• battery seems to last a long time especially if wireless mode is off
